MBC Development was recently awarded the bid to construct a barracks for the Pennsylvania State Police in McKean County. The new structure, designed as a single-story building of 9,000 square feet, will be located adjacent to the Bradford Regional Airport in Lafayette Township. It will feature the most up-to-date technology in order to serve the residents and visitors of the county more effectively. The new building will be larger and able to accommodate more troopers than the current station. The project is anticipated for a completion date of December 2018. It will replace the current station located in Kane, Pa. which has been in operation for several decades.
Below are some conceptual images of the new state police barracks.
